Powertrain

Under the hood, the Elantra N TCR Edition keeps the same powertrain as the standard N model--a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine delivering 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque. Better yet, with the exclusive N Grin Shift (NGS) function available only with the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (not offered with the manual), output briefly climbs to 286 horsepower. For purists, a 6-speed manual gearbox is also available, featuring Rev Matching for a race-car-worthy driving experience.
